About Membership: The Why and How?
Our congregation is made up of longtime members and regular visitors. You are welcome to join us for worship, Bible studies, fellowship meals, and outreach programs regardless of your membership status.
Church membership is an important aspect of our Christian faith and life. By joining the church and regularly participating in the life and work of a local congregation, we are reminded that the Christian faith is a communal faith. While we each profess faith in Christ, our common profession binds us together with those who believe as we do, and we live out our faith by journeying alongside each other in encouragement, support, and care.
Those interested in membership may join the church in one of three ways.
Those not previously baptized may make a public profession of faith and be baptized.
Those previously baptized but not currently active in another Christian congregation may join by publicly reaffirming their faith.
Those previously baptized and actively involved in another congregation may join by a letter of transfer attesting to their membership.
If you are interested in learning more about membership, please contact the church office to set up a meeting with the Pastor.
